Everyone has questions about life, faith and meaning.
Alpha is a relaxed, welcoming space to explore those questions openly, without pressure or judgement.

Each week we share a meal, watch a short film, and have honest conversations about the Christian faith.

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a worldwide course run by churches in over 160 countries. It’s designed to help people explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith in a friendly, informal environment.

Each session includes:

• A shared meal

• A professionally produced short film

• Open, honest discussion

There are no awkward moments, no pressure to speak, and no question that’s off‑limits.

How the evening runs

Alpha evenings are relaxed and social:

• 6.00pm – Arrive and enjoy a meal together

• 6.30pm – Watch the Alpha film

• Conversation and discussion around tables

• Finish by around 7.45pm

You can listen, ask questions, or simply observe — whatever feels comfortable.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone, especially if you:

• Are curious about Christianity

• Feel skeptical or unsure what you believe

• Have big questions about life and meaning

• Haven’t been to church before (or for a long time)

• Want to explore faith in a non‑pressured environment

You don’t need to know anything about the Bible.
You don’t need to believe anything to start.

What we’ll explore

Over 8 weekly sessions, Alpha looks at questions such as:

• Is there more to life than this?

• Who is Jesus?

• Why did Jesus die?

• How can I have faith?

• Why and how do I pray?

• How does God guide us?

There is also a dedicated session focused on the Holy Spirit, exploring spiritual experience in a thoughtful, grounded way.

Why Alpha?

People come to Alpha for many reasons — curiosity, searching, invitation from a friend, or simply a sense that there must be something more.

Alpha offers:

• Meaningful conversation without arguments
