We are delighted to welcome Dr Andy Bannister, Director of the Solas Centre for Public Christianity. Andy is an internationally respected evangelist, author, speaker and broadcaster who regularly addresses audiences across the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA on issues of faith, culture, politics and society. Andy will speak during our main Sunday service, helping us think clearly and confidently about following Jesus in today’s world.
Sunday Evening (March 15)– 6:00pm
Big Questions, Honest Answers — with a Full Meal Provided
Join us for an open, engaging evening exploring some of the biggest questions people ask about Christianity, belief, culture, doubt, and meaning — and enjoy a full meal together as part of the event.
This is a brilliant opportunity to invite friends, neighbours, colleagues, or anyone curious about faith.
Good food, great conversation, and space for honest exploration.
Tuesday Evening (March 17)– 7:30pm
Confident Christianity Training Night
A practical equipping session focused on sharing Jesus naturally in everyday conversations — at work, at home, and in the community. Andy’s long experience in evangelism and apologetics makes this an invaluable training opportunity. [andybannister.net]

These events aren’t just for those who already call Eldad home — they are open to the whole island. Our heart is to equip, encourage, and strengthen anyone in Guernsey who wants to think deeply about faith, explore life’s big questions, or learn how to share Jesus with clarity and confidence.
Whether you regularly attend a church, haven’t been for years, are exploring Christianity, or simply enjoy meaningful conversations about truth and purpose, you are warmly invited. We believe that when the wider church and community come together, everyone grows. This is an opportunity for Guernsey as a whole — across churches, friendships, workplaces and networks — to gain tools that help us live and speak with greater hope in our everyday lives.
